What is your role about?

We are currently looking for a new colleague who is eager to learn a lot about Trading and Revenue Management. You will be part of the Trade team, currently existing of 8 Traders and a Head of Trade. This team is part of a bigger Revenue Management Team.

In this position you have an important role in the Trading process, but also the opportunity to contribute to and learn from interesting projects, like improving risk steering, opportunity seeking and optimizing the reporting process to the various stakeholders and the transition to dynamic packaging.


Within your role you will be primarily involved in:

  • Optimizing occupancy of contracted flights and accommodations – As a Trader you are responsible for your ‘own’ destination (think of Portugal, Kos or Val Thorens). For this destination you are responsible guarding the coverage of contracted capacities, pricing and predefined bookingflows and margins. This can be focussed on our flight destinations (often Sun locations), but also our bus or selfdrive destinations (often ski areas). Most important goal of the Trader is to reach the highest possible load factor at the highest possible margin.
  • Coordinating marketing activities – In order to reach these goals, we are working together with our colleagues from e-commerce, to get the relevant potential customers on our website(s). Alignment of our marketing spend and -focus and together deciding to spend a marketing euro or use pricing as a tool is one of the main focal points of the Trade team. Besides this all marketing campaigns and sales offers are filled with offers the Trade team creates.
  • Continuous improvement – You will support the Trade and Revenue Management team with getting the total Revenue Management on a higher level, necessary in our next step to become Europe’s leading digital holiday expert, both upon request from the business as on own initiative.
  • Creating competitive, market, risk and sales analysis – As Trade team we are responsible for preparing various internal and external reporting. Together with the team, you support creating improved insights which support the various stakeholders.

What about you?

  • You are full of energy, eager to learn and has a clear hands-on mentality.
  • At least a bachelor degree in for example Business Administration, Economics or Leisure studies. All backgrounds are welcome, as long as you have analytical skills and affinity with numbers.
  • You fit in a commercial, dynamic and fast environment.
  • You have great communication skills, are open an motivated to learn.
  • Takes initiative and is result-oriented
  • Knowledge of Excel is a big plus
  • Available 32-40 hours a week.
  • Fluently in English and basic level of (minimum B2) Dutch is a must
  • You are currently living in the Netherlands and you have a BSN number.
  • You like to go on holiday 😊
