Software Engineer (.NET Core / Azure)

At Sunweb Group, we’re on a mission to build smart, scalable tech that transforms how millions experience travel. As a Software Engineer, you’ll play a key role in developing the internal core systems behind our booking platforms and customer journeys.

You'll work in a full Agile team with three other engineers and a product owner — all passionate about writing great code, solving real business challenges, and taking the occasional great holiday too. We work with .NET Core, React, and Azure, and we’re constantly experimenting with better ways to build.

What you’ll do

• Build and improve software using the Microsoft tech stack (.NET Core, C#, Azure)

• Design and develop scalable, cloud-native applications

• Maintain and enhance CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks

• Collaborate with your cross-functional Agile team on planning, delivery, and problem-solving

• Participate in architectural discussions and shape key technical decisions

Our tech environment

• Microsoft tech stack: .NET Core, C#, Azure (Functions, AKS, SQL)

• CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code

• Code reviews, test automation, and a clean architecture approach

• A culture of experimentation, knowledge sharing, and ownership

What skills will bring you to the top?

• You have at least 3 year of experience as a C# developer, preferably in a .NET Core environment.

• Familiarity with container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes or AKS is a strong plus

• Knowledge of SQL and experience with Azure databases for robust data handling is a significant advantage.

• Experience in building cloud-native applications on Microsoft Azure is highly desirable.

• Basic understanding and practical experience with unit testing and integration testing.

• You are adaptable, eager to learn, and focused on delivering results efficiently.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively within a diverse, cross-functional team.
