To further strengthen our Finance & Control team, we are looking for a Reporting & Consolidation Specialist who is motivated to join us in bringing our finance function to the next level.

You will work closely together within a team of finance professionals from our office based in Rotterdam. The finance team is recently further strengthened to be well positioned for the future. Within this function you will be the gate keeper of the consolidation process and related financial reporting’s, to ensure high quality deliverables. The role is positioned between our financial control team, accounting team and also our tax team. Next to your involvement in recurring processes, you will also play an important role in our transition to IFRS and be involved in the process of future integrations of new businesses.

Your challenge

As a Reporting & Consolidation Specialist you will play a key role within our financial processes. Amongst others, you will be involved in the following areas:

• Owner of the (monthly) consolidation process in which you play a key role in ensuring on time reporting
• Ensure correct transfer of all journal entries within Exact (financial reporting system) to Lucanet (reporting and consolidation system)
• Validating intercompany eliminations and ensure proper intercompany recharges
• Integrate the monthly forecast process within Lucanet in cooperation with the financial control team
• Assist in exploring and implementing further possibilities of Lucanet
• Monitor compliance of the transactions within our various entities in accordance with the transfer pricing agreements of the group
• Understand and assist in ensuring compliance of the local requirements of the legal entities within our legal structure
• Supporting our tax manager in providing correct figures in order to be able to prepare tax calculations
• Supporting our treasurer in providing financial information for compliance with external stakeholders as banks and guarantee funds
• Supporting the finance team in the integration (or divestment) of acquisitions

Our office in Rotterdam, but we are currently working from home. When the situation allows we prefer to be in the office 2 days a week.

What about you?

Our new colleague has a clear hands-on mentality and is eager to both spot improvement areas and bring a first solution to the table. Common sense with respect to the financial statement processes is more important than deep accounting (Dutch GAAS or IFRS) knowledge.

We are looking for an enthusiastic candidate who has:

• At least a master degree in finance, business administration, or similar
• At least 5 years of experience in a similar position with ambition to learn and grow within our organization
• Critical thinking skills, great communication skills, and highly motivated
• Knowledge of Excel, Lucanet and EXACT (or another consolidation and ERP system) is a pre
• Fluently in Dutch or English is a must.
