Our Hospitality French Branch is looking for a People Operations Specialist who will play a key role in supporting daily HR activities, driving efficient processes, and helping teams deliver an outstanding guest experience.

About the Role

As the People Operations Specialist, you support all day-to-day HR activities — from recruitment coordination to employee administration, compliance, and operational support. You play a central role in ensuring that employees feel welcomed, supported, and well-informed throughout their journey.

Your Responsibilities:

Recruitment & Onboarding

· Coordinate interviews and assessments for seasonal and operational roles.

· Conduct initial screenings and interviews.

· Publish job postings and manage applications through the ATS.

· Organize and support onboarding processes for new hires.

People Administration & Employee Records

· Maintain accurate and compliant employee files.

· Manage contracts, amendments, and employee lifecycle changes (hires, transfers, terminations).

· Ensure proper HR documentation and data accuracy.

HR Compliance

· Support compliance with labour laws, collective agreements, and internal HR policies.

· Assist in preparing required HR reports and documentation.

Employee Relations

· Act as the first point of contact for employees on people operations topics.

· Provide guidance and support to employees and managers on daily HR matters.

· Contribute to a positive, respectful, and engaging work environment.

Operational HR Support

· Ensure effective daily people operations according to business needs.

· Support high seasonal activity with a proactive and adaptable approach.

· Participate in continuous improvement of HR processes and tools.

What we’re looking for

  • Experience in HR, People Operations, or an administrative role.

  • Good understanding of labor law and HR best practices.

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).

  • Proficiency in MS Office and HRIS systems.

  • Comfortable working with reports, HR data, and tracking tools.

  • People-oriented with strong interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Highly organized and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

  • Solution-driven, and reliable.

  • A team player with a hands-on mindset.

  • Dynamic, reactive, and adaptable.

  • Fluent in French and English.
