Job description

🔧 Maintenance Technician (M/F) – Keep the Holiday Running Smoothly in the French Alps

Solve problems before they arise and ensure everything works like magic behind the scenes.

As a Maintenance Technician, you are the go-to person for all technical matters in our mountain accommodations. Thanks to your skills and proactive mindset, guests can fully enjoy their holiday—without ever worrying about what’s happening behind the scenes. You are our #problemfixer, ensuring comfort, safety, and top functionality during the entire winter season.

🛠️ Your Impact

  • Inspect guest rooms, common areas, equipment, and systems to ensure everything is in excellent condition and meets safety regulations

  • Perform repairs on electrical systems, plumbing, heating, and building structures

  • Implement preventive maintenance plans and act quickly on any reported issues

  • Manage utilities and technical systems to guarantee smooth daily operations

  • Order, organize, and track inventory of maintenance materials

  • Follow all hygiene and safety procedures (e.g., SPA water tests, fire safety checks)

🏔️ Why Join Our Journey?

As part of our maintenance team, you’ll work in a close-knit, supportive group where your skills really matter. You’ll live and work in one of Europe’s most beautiful alpine settings—and make memories that last a lifetime.

We offer:

  • A good salary

  • Full-time contract: 39 hours per week

  • Accommodation and meals provided at the workplace

  • Healthcare insurance

  • A ski pass for the whole season or a gift voucher for other mountain activities – your choice!

  • Up to 10% employee discount on Sunweb holidays (valid for 6 months)

🔍 What Makes You Stand Out?

You know that even the best holiday experience depends on what’s working behind the scenes. You’re organized, quick to act, and skilled in keeping things running smoothly—even under pressure.

You:

  • Have at least 2 years’ experience in a similar maintenance or technical role

  • Possess strong knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, heating, and plumbing systems

  • Are familiar with general building repairs and preventative maintenance routines

  • Speak English and/or French (Dutch is a plus)

  • Are well-organized and able to prioritize effectively

  • Are flexible and willing to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
