Internship: HR Recruitment

Sunweb Group is looking for an enthusiastic HR Recruitment intern to support our recruitment efforts for Sunweb Guides—the passionate teams who serve holidaymakers at our destinations across Europe.

Sunweb Group – People, Organization & Culture (POC)
Location: Rotterdam (Hybrid – 50% in office)
Start Date: June 2026
Availability: 32-40 hours per week
Duration: 4 or 5 months

This is a work-along internship where you become a fully active team member. It’s hands-on, dynamic, people-oriented, and perfect for anyone excited to learn how high-volume seasonal recruitment works in practice.

Your impact

Within our People, Organization & Culture (POC) team, you will play an important role in attracting, selecting, and supporting the future Sunweb Guides who help our guests create unforgettable holiday memories.

You will work closely with our Talent Acquisition Specialist and other HR experts in areas such as People Operations, People Analytics, Compensation & Benefits, and Onboarding.

What you will learn and do

• Support the full recruitment cycle for Guides, including drafting job postings, sourcing candidates, screening CVs, hosting talent days/ first-round interviews, and supporting hiring decisions.

• Manage candidate communication to ensure an outstanding candidate experience from application to onboarding.

• Assist in coordinating assessment days, interviews, and digital pre-boarding activities.

• Keep our ATS and candidate files up to date with accuracy and speed.

• Collaborate with colleagues across Destination teams on seasonal planning, recruitment campaigns, and process improvements.

• Support People Operations tasks such as contract preparation, employee data management, and answering day-to-day HR queries.

• Gain insight into broader HR activities including onboarding journeys, HR processes, and analytics.

• Bring your ideas to life—there is plenty of room for creativity and improving the way we attract new Guides.

What you bring

• You are currently an HBO or Bachelor student in Human Resources, Tourism Management, Business Administration, Marketing & Communication, or a related field.

• A strong interest in Recruitment and HR, especially in dynamic or seasonal hiring environments.

• You are people-oriented, communicative, and comfortable speaking with candidates from various backgrounds.

• You are proactive, eager to learn, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks.

• You have strong communication skills in English (Dutch and/or French is a big plus).

• You are tech-savvy and enjoy working with digital tools and HR systems.

• You thrive in an international environment and enjoy collaborating with diverse teams.
