As the European leader in ski holidays, the company is experiencing strong growth in Europe and particularly within its French branch SDP, which manages and operates 13 hotels and tourist residences in the French Alps. (Val Thorens, Les Deux Alpes, Chatel, La Joue du Loup, Saint-Sorlin, Belle Plagne, Alpes d'Huez, Corbier and Risoul)

As an F&B Manager, what will you be doing:

  • Hire, train, and supervise restaurant, bar & terrasse employees
  • Create staff schedule to ensure appropriate staffing (Planning/ Team organization)
  • Track stock levels of food and drinks, supplies, and equipment, forecast needs, and oversee ordering as necessary
  • Take ownership of budgets and cost control methods to minimize expenses (Ratios/Rolling forecast)
  • Develop the sales and create events
  • Responsible of cash register and daily closings (Lightspeed)
  • Address customer needs, comments, and complaints
  • Adhere to and enforce employee compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards (Trackfood)
  • Ensure all employees are working within outlined operating standards (Checklist Metiers)
  • Report on financial performance, inventory, and personnel
  • Create menus in collaboration with the chef (menu price calculation)
  • Ensure quality of menus and service
  • Set up sales price as and products in the POS (Lightspeed)

Job requirements

What are we looking for:

  • You have 3-5 years of food and beverage service industry experience
  • You have working knowledge of general restaurant operations, including personnel management, food planning and preparation, purchasing, sanitation and health codes, and security
  • You have high school diploma or general education degree (GED) or Bachelor's degree in Hospitality
  • You have high energy level
  • You have strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • You have excellent leaderships skills
  • You have demonstrated ability to manage operating costs in accordance with budgets
  • You are comfortable setting priorities and delegating tasks as needed
  • You are extremely organized and detail-oriented
  • You master office tools, including Pack Office
  • You are fluent French and English speaking

Facts & figures:

  • Contract 39H/week till October 2022
  • Salary according to experience
