E-Commerce Marketer Denmark

Job description

Your challenge? Grow our online presence to become the leading digital holiday expert!

You will be an E-Commerce Marketer in our SUN E-Commerce team and your goal is to find the right channel mix and strategies to increase our revenue. With your experience, you know how to do this; by setting up tactical sales campaigns, running experiments across the funnel, improving conversion rate, and working with a cross-functional team to establish growth strategies to support Sunweb Group's goals.

You will work for an international, ambitious, and vibrant organization where we welcome new ideas and entrepreneurship so we can learn from each other. The E-Commerce team can be characterized as enthusiastic, persistent, social, and realistic. Apart from the flexibility to work from home and our main office in Rotterdam, we are also open to working (remotely) from one of our hub offices in Antwerp, Paris, Girona, or Copenhagen.

A lot is going on within e-commerce; the current situation and events require us to be flexible in our work and the team is building its foundation. Many new developments and improvements are being initiated and implemented – there is a lot of room for creative ideas and initiatives from every member in the team. Personal input and suggestions are much appreciated, they’re being listened to and turned into action.

Your impact

You are up to date on the daily performance of the marketing activities and achieve the desired results by building a strong and efficient e-commerce presence. The insights and performance statistics ensure that you continuously optimize the channel mix and present the brand optimally on the different touchpoints within our customer journey on mobile, desktop, and app. To enhance results and uncover areas for improvement, you will base changes on your analysis of the market trends, bookings flow per destination/accommodation, golden dates, and other relevant data. You:

  • Feel comfortable taking the lead.
  • Monitor and review digital performance daily to improve the impact of our marketing efforts.
  • Create, manage, and experiment on a wide range of trading formats to drive traffic, engagement, and conversion.
  • Execute and follow-up on-brand campaigns initiated by the Brand Manager.
  • Play an active role in website conversion rate optimization, by doing sales funnel analysis and identifying existing bottlenecks in this funnel.
  • Share results and insights based on analysis of booking data, digital performance, and local market trends in collaboration with our online advertising specialists, product managers, and data teams (e.g. UX/BI).
  • Get the maximal potential out of channels such as SEO by analyzing growth opportunities or affiliates by setting up performance-based partnerships.
