Destination Service Specialist Summer 2025

As an experienced team member, you'll be working closely with our Destination Management Companies (DMCs), partners and internal departments, to ensure top-notch service for our guests. You'll take ownership of what happens on the destination, ensuring all operations run smoothly, and acting as the go-to person for support and solutions whenever challenges arise.

What will you do?

• Welcome & Support: Be the friendly face that greets our guests at both their arrival and departure at the airport. Assist them with a seamless transition to their transfer or rental car, and provide any additional support they may need.

• Partner management: Work closely with local DMCs, hoteliers, and other partners to guarantee all services meet Sunweb’s standards. You will be the vital link between the destination, Area manager and stakeholders.

• Sales and service optimization: Elevate the guest experience and boost sales by offering personalized recommendations for excursions and activities based on their interests. Every interaction is an opportunity to add value to their holiday and enhance their overall experience.

• Emergency Management: Act as the on-site coordinator in the event of major complaints or emergencies. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely and effective solutions.
  You make sure everyone is up-to-date and that our guests are guided with friendliness and professionalism.

• Collaboration with our digital team: You work together with Sunweb Group's digital guide team, answering guest questions through various communication tools and ensuring that our guests online and offline experiences seamlessly connect. You will be answering questions from guests from your own destination but also from other destinations.

• Hospitality is in your DNA: You love making people smile and feel comfortable in an international environment. 
• Strong local knowledge: You understand the destination, its challenges, and how to navigate them effectively, maintaining excellent relationships with DMCs and partners.
• Experienced in operations: You’ve worked in dynamic environments and know how to keep things running smoothly even under pressure.
• Flexible and proactive: You are willing to work irregular hours and enjoy variety in your work. You have a proactive attitude and anticipate on challenges before they arise.
• Problem solver: Quick to respond, you stay calm in difficult situations and always find the best solution.
• Effective communicator: Fluent in Dutch or Swedish (and English), with excellent communication skills to align with both our teams and local partners.
