SDP is the hospitality branch of the Sunweb group, which manages and operates 13 hotels and tourist residences in the French Alps. (Val Thorens, Les Deux Alpes, Chatel, La Joue du Loup, Saint-Sorlin, Belle Plagne, Alpes d'Huez, Corbier and Risoul)

As an Area Manager, what will you be doing:

Used to dealing with a multi-site organization, the Area Manager coordinates the activity of all

Hotels, residences and Chalets. He ensures that processes are implemented well and are properly applied by controlling on spot. He is a real direct support for all entities of his area, and is constantly on destination.

He embodies Sunweb values and broadcasts them to his teams.

Here is the main responsibilities the Area manager will have:

Coordination and support :

  • Is the first point of contact for all accommodation managers
  • Supports accommodation managers on a daily basis and coordinates activities of the team
  • Coordinates and aligns processes, logistics and operations of all accommodations (checklists, roadmaps…)
  • Trains the accommodation managers to use the tools (Mancloud, Lightspeed...) and shares best practices to help them become autonomous
  • Works in full alignment with Operations Director and embraces vision, strategy and culture to diffuse within the destination teams
  • Ensures smooth and strong cooperation with all Sunweb destination staff (guides)

Product Controlling & Client experience follow up :

  • Ensures the best client experience and satisfaction : suggests and implements preventive and corrective actions
  • Quality control : ensures processes are followed, does on-the-spot quality checks (food, cleanliness, H&S, etc..)
  • Assists the Operations directors in summer sales and opportunities
  • Follows NPS and has link with customer care in Head Office

Budget follow-up :

  • Provides Director of Operations key information through recurrent reporting

Tooling :

  • Does the initial setup of the PMS and systems

Job requirements

What are we looking for:

  • You have 2 to 5 years as a similar role in multi-site hospitality Business
  • You are comfortable with PMS & POS system and Reporting tools
  • You are a people person
  • You are a Team player
  • You have strong prioritization skills
  • You Don't get caught up in stress and are solution oriented
  • You like to move on destination on a regular basis
  • You are enthusiastic and good communicant
  • You are dynamic & reactive
  • You are fully fluent in French and English, Dutch is a plus

Facts & figures:

  • Contract 39H/week
  • Salary according to experience
  • Accommodation and meals offered at the work place
